I own a cell phone!(and I've been stung by a bee- - where are all the bees?)

I think I can honestly say I've done about 20 of these without hedging :)

I was amazed how many I had done :-)

This was fun--I just did it over at my blog, too.

Great list - I'm surprised how many I've done......

I guess I've done about a quarter of them. Interesting how different people's experiences are—some items on the list sound incredibly exotic and some are ordinary things that I would have guessed everyone has done . . . but they're on the list, so they seemed unordinary to the list maker.

Hi Lisa, I followed you over from Debra's because of your name - I know another Lisa Kenney, but you are not her :-) I do love to see that you are creative and live with a fine artist. I do to, or at least an aspiring one, but she is my daughter. I'll read more.

You simply MUST see Niagara Falls in person, & not just because of the Falls, themselves, but because there's so much to see & do through the whole area! Not far away the Canadian's booted America out during the War of 1812, for example. There's the butterfly conservatory at the botanical gardens, there's the gorge, the floral clock & the aerocar over the whirlpool. You simply MUST go. Before it becomes even more commercial...

Lisa, you've accidentally linked to ME instead of Debra! But, nice to meet you nonetheless. Interesting exercise, no?

Denis, Who said the cell phones are doing something to the bees? Did I hear that from Bill Maher??

Billy, I was surprised at how many I'd done and yet there are plenty of things that aren't on this list that I'm surprised I haven't.

Debra, I just found out I thought I'd linked to you and I hadn't!

Judy, Maybe we ought to periodically make more lists. Here's a candidate for the first item: Have you ever had a home frosting job with one of those caps where you pull your hair out with a crochet hook? Why, yes I have -- ONCE.

Liz, You've done all kinds of amazing things that aren't on here too. Every time I check in at your place, you're on an adventure to some new exotic place.

Shauna, Yes, I had the same reaction. We could certainly have themed lists that would give away one's age: Have you ever owned an 8-track tape deck? played a stack of 45s? used "Dippedy Doo"?

Junosmom, Welcome! I'm glad you decided to stop in. Now you can say you know two Lisa Kenneys :)

Lana, Ha! I've always heard Niagra Falls was (were?) beautiful and it's kind of odd I never visited, since I lived relatively near (New England). I have to tell you though, whenever I think of Niagra Falls, I think of a 3 Stooges episode when Moe would go into a trance whenever he heard "Niagra Falls".

Kris, That's so weird! I have no idea how I did that, but I'm glad I did and I'm glad you stopped by! Yes, it was fun.

Hm, I think I'll try this one over on my Stranger blog. Thanks!

I've only done 34 of these things - many of these are rather focused on Northern Hemisphere activities, of course! Now, if we swapped Niagra Falls with Table Mountain etc., I'd have done a couple more of these!

Literary Quote

It is worth mentioning, for future reference, that the creative power which bubbles so pleasantly in beginning a new book quiets down after a time, and one goes on more steadily. Doubts creep in. Then one becomes resigned. Determination not to give in, and the sense of an impending shape keep one at it more than anything.
