I'll be posting about Head Case: How I Almost Lost My Mind Trying to Understand My Brain, by Dennis Cass when I do my monthly What I Read This Month Instead of Writing or Doing Laundry post, but I just ran across this post and video on his paperback book launch and it is hysterical. Betsey, I'm a lurker on lots of blogs! Yes, actually I've been a dues-paying member for the last two years and I get the group email every night, but I confess that aside from attending part of the Colorado Gold Conference this past summer, I've never participated in anything else. I also belong to Lighthouse Writers Workshop and I attended their retreat last summer (in Grand Lake, which I believe is a favorite place of yours?) and a number of their workshops. We actually have a lot of Denver bloggers around here. I've lurked on your blog a number of times too and I've been meaning to link you so I'm glad you stopped by and reminded me!

Lisa, I didn't find this as funny as the others, mainly because I'm in his shoes, though without a published book. I still don't know what that thing that looks like delicious but has dots in it is.

I couldn't stop laughing at this! I've been really conservative lately about buying new books (my TBR's are taking over my office!), but on the strength of your recommendation and that video, I had to give Amazon my credit card info. :) Clever marketing!
