That novel that you're working on?

The Lighthouse Writers posted this to their blog and I couldn't resist. OK, now seriously, I have to go back to work!

I love Stewie and Brian! That show kills me, I don't always love it, but I always love Stewie and Brian. This is classic! Saw it on tv and laughed my ass off! I am so Brian wanting to smack everyone with their "it's so easy to write a novel" comments. Ha, I say!

But what a great clip to post and share the Stewie love!

Hi, Lisa --

Great site, and thanks so much for linking to mine. Next week I'll be putting up the cover to the paperback edition of "A Nail Through the Heart" and asking for comments (the folks at Morrow said no problem), so please take a look and tell me what you think.

Everyone, thanks for stopping in -- I thought those of you who hadn't seen it (and even those who had) would get a kick out of it.

Julie, thanks for stopping in and I hope you come back.

Greg, my enigmatic cousin. Yes, I'm working on it. :)

I've never read I am Legend, but it sounds like an interesting read. Since it was written in the 50's it must be quite a different take on the whole post-apocalyptic scenario. According to wiki, there have been two film adaptations and another is due out soon. Sounds intriguing.

Timothy, thank you SO much for stopping by. I just posted a new ramble and you are the primary reason that I'm back. You're one of my links and I'll be checking in at your site on my regular rounds, so I'll be sure to take a look at the cover. Hopefully, some of my other friends will do the same -- I am admittedly no good at judging cover art. I consider myself "cover blind". I know a lot of my friends are much better judges, so I'll urge them to take a look too, if they haven't already.

Literary Quote

It is worth mentioning, for future reference, that the creative power which bubbles so pleasantly in beginning a new book quiets down after a time, and one goes on more steadily. Doubts creep in. Then one becomes resigned. Determination not to give in, and the sense of an impending shape keep one at it more than anything.
