To the Beach!

Tomorrow we’re headed to Cabo San Lucas on the tip of the Baja California Peninsula. That early snow over the weekend scared us south and we’re off to warmer climes. I'll be back with tales from south of the border on Halloween. Have a great week!

We planned it back in July with thoughts that by October it might start getting cold. We will do that, thanks!

Oh, Lisa, hope your trip proves to be as glorious as mine was! A few pictures of here and there, but now they'll definitely be saved until you return.

Travel safe.

Happy trails, Lisa! Enjoy the sunshine and warmth. Fall has a-r-r-i-v-e-d in NE OH--complete with rain, wind, gray skies and falling leaves. In the words of Joni Mitchel,: "And the seasons they go round and round..."

Oh, now I hate you.

Okay, not really. But I am sick, sick, sick with jealousy.

Have a good time. No really. I really mean it. Have loads of fun. Don't give us a second thought. We'll just be here, not on vacation, doing the regular nonvacation things.

Don't forget to take lots of pictures to torture us with when you get back.

Literary Quote

It is worth mentioning, for future reference, that the creative power which bubbles so pleasantly in beginning a new book quiets down after a time, and one goes on more steadily. Doubts creep in. Then one becomes resigned. Determination not to give in, and the sense of an impending shape keep one at it more than anything.
