I really love his style.<BR/><BR/>Patti, His essay, "How John Gardner Kicked My Ass and Saved My Soul" is one I've mentioned a number of times. It's probably my favorite essay by a novelist.<BR/><BR/>Charles, How cool -- we both talked about books with dogs in them.
